Mountain Ridge and Steep Slope Protection Strategics
A recent report compiled by a broad-based stakeholder group in western North Carolina which describes the problems associated with development in steep mountainous areas. The report provides a large array of suggestions, both regulatory and non-regulatory, to address the issue that may be useful to state and local governments experiencing this phenomenon.
