NACP Overview
The National Association of County Planners (NACP) represents a resource of county planning officials and professional planners who can communicate, ideas, share experiences, and help. 

A new dimension which acknowledges the vital contributions of everyone involved in the county planning process…

The National Association of County Planners invites you to share in:

Networking:
  • Information and referral services from the organization’s headquarters in Washington, DC. Special Services for State Associations.
  • Informative programs on county issues at the American Planning Association (APA) annual conferences.
  • Participation in programs at the National Association of Counties (NACO) annual conferences.
Services:
  • Publications Planning Guidelines “How to” Manuals.
  • Planners Job Exchange NACP will act as a clearinghouse for planners who wish to temporarily exchange positions.
  • “Swap” Team Experienced practitioners on new approaches to old problems.
Membership:
  • Membership in the National Association of County Planners is open to all members of county commissions, county planning departments, and to consultants with an interest in county planning issues.
  • Membership is available only on an individual basis.
